Our Mission:<\/p>\n

To prevent the euthanasia of healthy, adoptable pets by providing low-cost spay-neuter services to underserved pet owners and community cat caregivers.<\/p>\n

\n\t\t\tWho We Are & What We Do\t<\/h2>\n\tSpayKind, formerly Humane Solution Spay-Neuter Program, is a primarily volunteer-led 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to improving the lives of pets and the people who love them. Since our founding in 1999, we have worked to address a critical need for affordable spay and neuter services for pet owners facing financial barriers.\nGuided by a volunteer board of directors and powered by a committed network of staff and
\nvolunteers, SpayKind believes that spaying and neutering is the most effective way to reduce pet overpopulation and prevent unnecessary euthanasia in animal shelters. Every day, our team
\nworks to create a community where fewer animals enter shelters, so that more families can keep and care for their beloved pets.\n

SpayKind’s work is centered around four core programs:<\/strong><\/p>\n

  1. Low-Cost Pet Spay and Neuter Vouchers<\/strong>
    \nWe provide affordable vouchers to pet owners experiencing financial hardship, helping make spay and neuter services accessible. Learn more: Spay-Neuter Voucher Program<\/a><\/li>\n
  2. Feral Cat Program<\/strong>
    \nWe support community cat caretakers by providing access to spay and neuter services for feral and free-roaming cats. This program helps stabilize local cat populations, improves the cats’ health, and fosters better coexistence with the people who live nearby.   3. Pop-Up Vaccine and Microchip Clinics<\/strong>
    \nOur convenient clinics offer rabies and distemper vaccines, microchipping, and nail trims in a simple, accessible format. Find dates and locations:     Pet Vaccine Clinics<\/a><\/li>\n
  4. SpayKind Spay-Neuter Clinic<\/strong>
    \nOur clinic provides scheduled spay and neuter surgeries for SpayKind voucher recipients and shelter pets, expanding access to high-quality, affordable care.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    \n\t\t\tHow We Do It\t<\/h2>\n\t

    SpayKind relies solely on donations, grants, and fundraisers to make this low-cost spay-neuter program possible. Our main fundraisers are rabies\/microchip clinics that are held at various locations 5 times a year, as well as our “Plates for Paws” and signature “Tails and Ties” Gala held annually. Donations and grants help us “Spay it Forward” and offer other services, such as vaccine allowances and reduced or free vouchers for very low-income pet owners.<\/p>\n
